ALEGO WEST is an electrical engineering consulting firm that specializes in sustainable electrical design for power distribution, life safety, lighting, lighting control, and communication systems for civic, institutional, educational, commercial, and light industrial buildings. It was established in 2019 by Aleksandr Gordeyev, P.Eng.
Aleksandr is a customer-oriented, results-driven, dedicated and dependable electrical engineering consultant with over fourteen years’ experience in electrical design and installation in Canada and sixteen years of electrical professional experience abroad.
Aleksandr is registered with EGBC as a Professional Engineer. In addition to his Professional Certificate of Registration with EGBC, he holds the IPTQ Electrical “Red Seal” issued by ITA in 2005, FSR Class B issued by Safety Authority BC in 2008 and a Certificate of Qualification as a BC Master Electrician FSR Class B since 2018. He has held an Associate Certificate in Sustainable Energy Management (BCIT), which he received in September 2010.
Prior to starting his career in electrical engineering consulting firms (2011-2019), he gained valuable hands-on experience as a Certified Industrial and Construction Journeyman Electrician (2005-2011).
His unique combination of electrical engineering experience, strong knowledge of sustainable energy management and hands-on experience as a journeymen electrician allows Aleksandr to lead ALEGO WEST and to provide a wide range of electrical consulting services for customers in a variety of areas, such as federal and municipal government, educational and healthcare facilities, and commercial buildings.
